Italy 2009 – Update 1
Brayden is in awesome shape, and seems in a great frame of mind. So we will see what tomorrow brings.
Today was the Hand cyclists (lower limb paralysis), and the Amputees. Canada had 7 racers today .. and guess what we had a World Champion in the HC division .. it was awesome to hear the Canadian anthem at the awards ceremony. All our other guys did not do that good. Tomorrow it is the CP time trail (Brayden, Jean and Mary Claude) and our tandem duos. We have another medal shot in the tandem men’s race, and I am expecting a top ten from Brayden (but then I am one of those domineering dads, that expects the best from his son). This has typically been Brayden’s worst event, but somehow I have that feeling that he is going to rise to the occasion.
